Yes, it can. I have written at least two articles on SCA placenames.
One on the kingdoms and pricipalities (which was reprinted in the
Black Star) and one on selected local group names. If any editors
would like copies of these articles for consideration for your
newsletters, please contact me.

Most of the info for these articles I got from this file in the
SCA STORIES section of my Stefan's Florilegium:

I was unaware of the meanings behind many of the names explained here
in response to my request. Thank you, folks. I will be adding some of
these messages to this file shortly.
