ALL SAINTS STEW
What was once known as Samhain Stew has been improved!!  Yes, this
year, on the 31st of October the Shire of Tempio will host a Tourney of
historic proportions!

The days activities will include an arts and sciences competition with the
theme,
'Saints of note', a ransom tourney that will allow you to fight until you or
your
foes are bereft of prizes (bring goodies), as well as our traditional Tempio
Stew
cook-off with awards given in 'period' and 'yummy' categories (note: one entry
can win *both* categories).  Bring enough stew to feed at least six people other
than your own party so that everyone may try all the stews present.  So sharpen
your appetite as well as your sword and join us with your delicious stew... and
taste ours too!  Childrens activities are planned for the day so bring your
family to
witness this triumphant occassion.  Adults $3 Children under 12  *FREE*.
Schedule of Events

Friday- 6 p.m.	 Site opens
Saturday- 9 a.m.	 Armor inspection begins at the list
	- MIC Lord Devon
	Childrens activities begin at the permanent
	pavillion
Saturday- 9:30 a.m	Opening festivities
Saturday- 10 a.m	 A&S competition begins at the white round
	tent- BIC Lord Jovian Skleros
Saturday- 3 p.m.	 Judging concludes for A&S
	Tourney concludes
	STEW-OFF BEGINS!!
Saturday- 5:30 p.m.	Judging for stew-off concludes
Saturday- 6 p.m.	Closing festivities/court

	Directions:  Take your best route to IH 35 in Temple.  Take exit 301and
travel west @5.1 miles to
Highway 317.  Turn south and travel @2.7 miles to Highway 439 where you will
turn west.  Travel @1 mile
and turn into the Belton Lake Group Use Area on your left.  The site has
running water, limited electricity,
and good bathrooms.
