I am so pleased to hear this! My shieldman, Vivaine, tells
me that she had a grand time, along with such other puissant
Elfsea-ers as Corbin, Scipio, and Muirgean, and that Sir
Gunthar's performance in my stead was explempary.

In Bryn Gwlad, I had a fine time, especially in taking part
in the knighting of my friend now-Sir Corwyn, the creation
of Master Kief as a Pelican, and the not-announced-prior
creations of Ivar Runamagi as a Master of the Pelican, and
the knighting of my own squire, Sion Rhys of Badon. I also
took my first protege, my sister, Lady Mirrim of Bristol.

Congratulations to the winners of the all the competitions and
recipients of all those well-deserved awards (sorry, I was too
busy announcing your names to remember them). It was a great
pleasure to visit Bryn Gwlad again, and as I told many, those
who were happy to see me there owe a "thank you" to Sir Gunthar,
who made it possible.

Next year we will be doing the

I _gotta_ quit missing Three Kings!

- Galen
who'll next year have to choose between his Norman persona and his
mundane scottish heritage.
