Hmmm....

Just a few comments:

1.  Yes, it has been firmly established that you can't get a virus from
an email messages unless you open an attachment that comes with it.

2.  These hoax e-mails will continue to be sent around by good, kind
hearted souls who don't know about #1.  (Other posts in the same vein,
"The Chocolate Chip Cookie Revenge Letter" and various chain letters.)

3.  Almost always, one of the first responses to a forwarded warning
will be similar to the message sent by Gnith.  If in doubt about that,
check the archives of this list.

4.  Are #2 or #3 worth the trouble of getting upset over?  My opinion is
"No", but then I find that there is rarely anything sent over the
computer that is worth getting upset over.

5.  Someone always gets upset.
