ANST - victoria and albert exhibit at Houston Fine Arts Museum

I checked around Stargate, and have not found anyone who has gone to the V
& A show at MFAH yet, most were waiting for the opening crowds to die down.
The show runs till January 10, 1999.  The exhibit items run the range of
dates from Medieval to modern.  The ad I saw had a reliquery from 15thC.,
and a miniature portrait from 1590, along with things from the 1800, some
pre-Raphelite  from 1900c. and into the 1960s.    The Museum of Fine Arts
Houston hours are Sat. (10-5) and Sun. (12:15 - 6) with tickets running
$10. adults, $5. children 6-18,  and the MFAH is located on 1001 Bissonet
between Main and Montross, near Rice University and the Medical Center in
Houston.  Entry to the V&A show should also gain you admission to the rest
of museum, which does have a good selection of SCA historical dated items.
Advance tickets may be purchased from Vista Tickets at 1-877-558-2632 for

.  So if you are planning a trip to Houston for Stargate Yule Revel, this
exhibit should be well worth the trip on Sunday.

Just wondering if anyone has gone to see this exhibit.  Did they bring a
lot of the medieval collection?  Just want to know. I am planning to go
next weekend.
