ANST - Queen's Champion Feast

Greetings from Your Servant, Lady Suzanne de la Ferte, Feastocrat for 
the upcoming Queen's Champion event to be held at the Double Eagle Ranch 
(Stargate) on the 30th and 31st Day of January, in the year 1999 of the 
common era.

A feast to delight your senses awaits you at Queen's Champion.

To begin, A fragrant Broth Saake with Tiny Dumplings, warm and 
flavorful. Just the thing to thaw all who have entered the competition 
to become the Queen's Champion.  The broth is made from simmering 
poultry with white wine, parsley, salt, hyssop, clove, green 
peppercorns, mace, dates, cinnamon, ginger and saffron. Shredded poultry 
and dumplings are added just before serving.

To whet the appetite, diners will be served Bread, Butter, Roasted 
Garlic, and Olives.

Losyns, a dish made with pasta, cheddar cheese, cinnamon, and pepper 
will be served next.

Beeff Rosted with Garlic, Thyme, Salt, and Pepper will be served with a 
choice of two sauces -- Bearnaise Sauce (red wine vinegar, green onion, 
tarragon, black pepper, egg yolks, butter, and parsley) or Mushroom 
Bordelaise Sauce (butter, mushrooms, flour, onion, parsley, thyme, bay 
leaf, salt, pepper, beef broth, and red wine).

The Beeff will be complemented by a serving of Wortes, spinach sauteed 
in olive oil with garlic, salt, and pepper.

To finish your meal, a sumptuous Bread Pudding will be offered with a 
choice of three sauces. The pudding is made from bread, milk, sugar, 
cinnamon, nutmeg, and eggs, and is filled with raisins and sliced 
almonds. The first sauce, a Brandy Hard sauce, is made with powdered 
sugar, butter, and brandy. The second sauce, Lemon Custard, is made from 
sugar, cream, milk, egg yolks, cornstarch, salt, lemon extract, and 
lemon zest. The last sauce is a simple Maple Syrup.
