Vivat! James ap Benyl's courts were wonderful! Volume good, enunciation 
good, control of alcohol good (cough)...he's got to be my personal 
favorite herald.
As for enunciation, after years of training, I believe I may still have 
some non-sca class notes on basic public speaking (both theatrical and 
non) that I'd be thrilled to copy and pass out should anyone be 
interested. My college taught a wonderful class called "Voice for the 
Actor" that dealt mainly with breath control (as did most of my singing 
classes), voice support, and enunciation - all of which, IMHO, are good 
for heralds. :)
