Jorvik is one of the biggest cities in Angleland. On the east coast,
toward the middle. You Saxons have such a soft tongue, and have taken
to pronouncing it as "Jork". But you are slowly learning our language.
We've taught you such words as "dale" and "law". (And boy did you need
that last one...) Visit Jorvik sometime and buy one of our fine combs
like the Northmen all use.

Don't tell me about the Scots. We have our own troubles with them, up in
the Orkneys. Some of the Northmen up there are talking about moving
farther north, to that new island they discovered, just to get away from
the Scottish cattle and pony raiders.

Normandy I have not heard of, nor do I have any relatives there. Is it
in Angleland?
