One minor nit: "naked" Patents of Arms -- a patent being given
without an associated award of one of the five possible types --
is not permitted in the SCA.

Also please realize that most of the SCA award system -- in
particular, the distinction between "awards", "grants",
and "patents" -- is an SCA fantasy with little connection
to any historical basis.
