ANST - Black Star Submissions

Good afternoon, Ansteorra:

For reasons of economy and speed, many people may wish to submit event
announcements, Notes and Challenges, and officers reports via the internet.
Email is acceptable for all text submissions, but some people may also wish
to submit formatted and graphic files.

A new web page exists with information on which file formats can be used at:

	http://www.telepath.com/spowers/blackstar/submissions.html

Submissions should be emailed to:

	Lady Margaret Fletcher	mspowers at telepath.com

Files should be sent with the email as attachments.  If, for some odd
reason, you have files to send that are over a couple of megabytes in size,
and you know how to send documents using FTP File Transfer Protocol, please
write to Rumil Fletcher (below) for the address and access information for
our ftp site.  This will help us avoid long delays from downloads while
checking email.

Technical questions should be addressed to:

If you are sending something that requires a release form such as an event
announcement with a map or graphics, be sure to mail an original of your
submission with a signed release form, even if you are submitting your
announcement electronically to meet the deadline.  If in doubt whether you
need a release form or not, go ahead and send it anyway, just to be safe.
If you fail to send a signed release before we go to press, your
announcement cannot be used.

And of course, observe all other submission rules for the Black Star, found
on pages 18 and 19 of the February 1998 Black Star.
