ANST - Directions to Bjornsborg Mini Tourney Jan 25th

Oops!  When Mari asked me to post this notice to the list for her, I flat
forgot to say WHERE.

Here are the directions to the Bjornsborg Mini-Tourney, which is to be held
January 25th.

The Mini Tourney will be held at the traditional Bjornsborg Fighter Practice
Location, Raymond Rimkus Park.

To find the park, find your best route to San Antonio.  Take Loop 410 towards
the North and West of the city.  You will exit on Evers Road and travel north
(that is outside the Loop).  You'll pass a couple of traffic lights, including
the one at Wurzbach Road.  A bit further on you will find yourself at a stop
sign at the bottom of a hill.  The park is about 1/2 mile beyond that stop sign
on your left.  There is another stop sign at the park itself, which is found at
the intersection of Evers Road and Poss Road, across from the Leon Valley
library.

The Mini Tourney will feature LOTS of FIGHTING!  Including a progressive melee
to allow folks to practice for the War and to show their leadership abilaities
while commanding a troop.

Can't get enough combat?  Tired of fighting the same old people every week?
Come on down and renew acquaintances with your old friends from Bjornsborg, or
make new friends here in the Land of the Bear.

There will be a Pot Luck Supper, please bring a dish to contribute.

The Bjornsborg pavillions will be set up to use as viewing galleries and
shelter, and will house an Arts and Sciences Display.  bring your crafts for
commentary by local area Laurels!
