Yes, it is. Unfortunately, unlike carved stone, wood items
do not last that long. Especially if these were meant
primarily as useful items rather than primarily as art
objects. However some items using wood burned decorations
have survived. There was a recent article on this, within
the past year I think, in a Tournaments Illuminated.
