Errr, if I remember correctly, the distinction lies not in the oath
but in the timing; Knights have to swear fealty _at the time of
their installation_ into the order of Chivalry, and Masters don't
have to. (I believe it's this way because of Corpora, but I don't
have the relevant sections at hand. . . ) Any other fealty oath, at
any other time, has no effect on the question of KSCA vs. MSCA,
at least officially.
