Good Morning,
The Ansteorra list is changing the method that bouncing email messages
are dealt with. The shear volume of bouncing email due to full mail
boxes has finally gotten to me to make a change in how I was dealing
with this problem. This will be documented in the charter that is
email to new subscribers.
From now on, the Ansteorra list will handle bouncing email in the
following methods:
1) If you are a member of the main list and your mail has bounced for
more than one hour, you will be moved to the digest version of the
list.
2) If you are a member of the digest list and your mail has bounced
for more than one digest, you will be removed from the digest version.
3) If you are a member of both lists and your mail has bounced for
more than one hour, you will be removed from both lists.
The exception to this is "User Unknown" bounces. These will be dealt
with on an ISP by ISP basis since there are known ISPs that regularly
have problems associated with temporarially losing their user information.
I hope this causes no one inconviences, but I hope it encourages
people to read their mail at least often enough to keep their mailbox
from becoming full.
In Service,
