ANST - Basket Weaving class

Greetings from Baroness Neassa of Stargate.

Stargate's Art-in-the-Park for the month of June will be my basket
weaving class. We will meet at Stargate's usual fighter practice site in
Memorial Park this Sunday, June 27th, starting at 1:00 pm. I will bring
the basket reed and other supplies. Participants should wear SCA
clothing suitable for working outside with water. It will probably be
very warm that day, so also bring plenty of liquids to drink.

The class should take two to three hours to complete, but you will take
home a finished basket with you. If anyone wishes to attend please
respond *privately* so I can have some idea of how many students to
prepare for. You do not have to RSVP to attend the class, but I would
appreciate it if you would.

Directions: In Houston, exit I-10 at Washington/Wescott and go South for
approximately 100 feet. Turn right (West) into Memorial Park, and follow
the signs to the tennis center. Our large, shaded area for fighter
practice is across the street from the tennis center, which has
air-conditioned restrooms, a snack bar, and showers.
