Good Morning,
I bet there are those of you who knew this was coming. After the shock
wore off, the questions had to come out.
Okay, I understand the basic awards (AoA, Thistle, Crane, etc). I
somewhat understand Peerages and Court Baronies now. I've been beat
around the head with White Scarves as of late. But..
What about the Star and Iris of Merit?
About when does someone get recommended for one of these? (ie. How
much work above the "AoA level" and/or before the "PoA level"?)
Does diversity of work need to be taken into account or is a "one
trick pony" able to achieve this level?
Can one achieve this by only working at the local group level? If so,
what must one do to make an impact to get this recognition?
Does maturity of character get taken into account as it does for
Peerages? (If so, can I give mine back? *grin* I don't wanna grow-up.)
I'm sure there are more questions in there, but they just aren't
coming out yet.
Ciao,
