Greetings to the net, and apologies for cluttering up bandwidth with an
off-topic request.  Because many of my friends receive the Ansteorra and/or
Rapier Lists, I thought that the easiest way for me to fix a goof-up would
be to post this request.

The computer idiots here just installed completely new and upgraded systems
and hard disks, something which I would normally find to be a Good Thing.
They, however, neglected to tell us they were going to do so and quite
nicely wiped out *everything* I had saved on  hard disk, including my
e-mail address book.  Although I regularly back up my work, I had not
backed up my address book file.

I would very much appreciate it if those with whom I  correspond would send
me a *private* e-mail message so that I can recover your e-mail address and
thus reconstitute my address book.  Heck, even if we don't correspond or
you didn't know I was on the net, and you suddenly get this great urge to
send me mail, send me a private message so I can add you to my list!
