Please let Frank know how important it is to follow up with an
Ortho...posterior dislocations (he was apparently very lucky...people have
been known to die from blood loss due to several arteries in the region!)
are an injury which can often repeat itself. I am facing the eventuality of
surgery due to a recurrent posterior dislocation with a SLAP lesion (a
muscular tear in the posterior of the shoulder...don't know exactly what it
means). Best wishes on a healthy recovery.
