ANST - cardboard ballista bolts

If you want heavy cardboard tubes for making bolts, etc., check with any 
fabric store, especially the places that sell lots of remnants.  At 
least in the Bryn Gwlad - Bjornsborg area, places like Fabric Warehouse 
usually have boxes full of the things, and they're usually willing to 
let people take whatever they want.

Of course, there is still the question of whether they're legal for 
weapons.  And the question of whether you can get any range out of them 
- those tubes are a LOT heavier than golf tubes.  But they are pretty 
sturdy.  I use one as a scabbard and it's held up to several years of 
abuse.
