I certainly think your post is appropriate, and I hope you got some good
response, but you might consider a couple of points. 

1) This went out to all Ansteorra, and it is very unclear what city or even
state you are referring to.
2) In the world of email, "today" can be quite confusing. Not everyone
reads mail everyday, and the message might get held up for days if a server
is down along the route. 

Since email does not carry non-verbal cues, and to avoid any hard feelings,
I am not sending you this as a bitch note, but rather to help you get a
better and more appropriate response in the future.
