these are issues at the Corporate / SCA-Wide level ... regalia mentioned 
specifically protected by Corpora and/or SCA uber-heraldry ... well outside 
the scope of the origional question and the answers given to that question

focus on *kingdom* law, per origional qiestion ... origional question was in 
regards to Ansteorran sumptuary laws as to allowed colors, and question 
was answered in those regards correctly

no protected colors in *clothing* at corporate or kingdom levels ... any 
attempts to make such sumptuary laws would probably get shot down 
promptly ... not to mention that it would be impossible and unreasonable to 
enforce.   all it would serve would to be the generation of *extreme* ill-will 
towards any and all attempting to push through such unwarranted and 
unreasonable restrictions..  

which reminds me ... make sure to pack the *purple* kimono top for the 
weekend (++g)
