ANST - Anniversary

Greetings to Fellow Ansteorrans of the List!
   It was brought up in another forum that today is the 932nd annivesary
of the Battle of Hastings. Since it's not too far from the mid-point of
our time frame, it's effects far outlasted those of us with mid-11th
century personas :)
   Historically, it should, IMHO, be ranked as one of the top 10 battles
of the Millenium. Any other candidates in our time frame?
