Greetings all,

Last weekend at the Fair went incredibly well.   Activity was tremendous and everyone had a great time!   I'd like to thank everyone who made it a fantastic weekend, especially the Loch Autocrat, Lady Katya, for bringing so many people with such a huge display of talent.   For the last two weekends the coordinators and autocrats have done a wonderful job of seeing to it that everything has gone flawlessly.   And those of you who attended did the SCA proud with inspired demonstrations, dress, persona play,  and all around  enlivening.    The first weekend was handled beautifully by Lady Klare and Lady Gillian, the Stargate Autocrats.  Over a hundred have come out each weekend!    I expect this weekend, with HL Yoshi at cobalt60 at lcc.net autocrating, to be no less fantastic.   There are still passes available for this and all other weekends, so don't miss out on one of the best times you will ever have at a demo.

There still are no sponsors for the 5th and 6th weekends so we have decided to make the 5th (Halloween) weekend a *Household* sponsored event!   Calling all households to participate as a group in some small (or large) way to make this yet another wonderful and unusual 2 days at the Fair.   Several have already signed up to provide entertainment for you and the patrons.    House Navarre is sponsoring prize tourneys for both chivalric and rapier on each day.   The Smurfs are providing Saturday night feast.   Mouse will be active with the Assassins Guild and will pick 3-4 unlucky participants from his assassination sign up sheet, the dirty deeds to be executed in public view on the fairgrounds.   Gather your household and bring your special talents and artistic inclinations for this one of a kind opportunity!

We are also offering, for the remaining weekends, a best death prize each day for both chivalric and rapier fighters on the Battle Mound.   Come on out and seek ye some fun!
