Here's my 2 AEs on this...
  Since getting diagnosed with UC, I've had to cut out some foods that
just aggrivate my condition.  It's been far easier bringing my own food
than eating the feast.  Believe me, I love feasts!  But stuff like
mushrooms and nuts would about put me in the hospital...
