IMHO I think it's not so much what is being served on the table as the
atmosphere and fellowship around the table.  Personnally, I'd rather have
good food I can eat.

IMHO truely period foods might be better left to A & S competitions.  In
preparing food for feasts many factors must be considered.  Not the least of
which is our modern palets.

Please remember what the "C" in SCA stands for.
