good recipes .. saved for later trial.  the very first "different" recipe i was 
exposed to was at Steppes Warlord I (dates me a bit, eh ...).  simply coal 
roasted onions with honey ... onions being one my favorite foods (and a 
excellent anti-oxidant) they are always stocked as "staples" (along with 
garlic).

glad that portabellos have become popular locally ... they're farmed at five 
locations and are abundant and reasonably priced.  love experimenting 
with new uses for them (one of the gf's training and on a low fat diet, so 
always looking for traditional meat replacements ...)

off tangent ... anyone out there have good kimchee recipes ??? ... it's soon 
to be that time of year
