For some stories of what can go wrong, even with the best-plans and the

Disasters can happen at any feast, from those that give good reproductions of
medieval feasts, those that plan pseudo-medieval foods or those that don't
even try. This files does give some ideas of what to be careful of. Frankly,
I'd rather have a poor medieval meal than a poor modern one at SCA events.
I've had both. But even more, I would like good medieval meals. I will take
a good medieval meal over a great modern one at an SCA event every time.
