Don't folks have a right to know how much has been pledged for this project?

It seems to me that if they don't want to hear your comments, you think it's
wrong and terrible.  But if I'd like to know how much is being contributed,
well that's not important so just don't clutter up the air ways with it.

i second that ... challenge or contest, let's NOT clutter up all the
information channels with another incessent stream of "challenge scoring"
and
all the mutual back-patting and growing complaints, sniping, etc that always
goes along with such things ...  if such is important to a sub-section of
the
readership, setup a web page somewhere that those that have any interest in
the
matter can access and spare the rest of us.
