ANST - New Topic...How does Gulf Wars compare to Lilies?

Greetings Unto Readers of the List!

   The recent Gulf Wars question prompted this one..I am hoping to go to either
Gulf Wars or Lilies this year. I am relatively new back in the SCA, and have
never attended either event.
   I understand Ansteorra is a direct part of the Gulf Wars, but how does Lilies
compare as an event?
