To this worthy topic, let me add my own experience.

    Last year, I recall 4 full nights of dancing and 3 solid days of
fighting all day long.

    Each day, my schedule went something like this:
Arise, break my fast, armor up and fight all morning and afternoon
(perhaps with a break for a class or two, and a midday snack.) Then
armoring down, showering, eating my own weight for supper. After that,
putting on one of my best doublets for several hours of dancing.

    I don't know how, but somewhere in all that I found time to visit
the merchants, as I came home several hundred dollars poorer.
