There are no federal regulations that I know of regarding this. The
individual states may have their own regulations. For example, you may
transport it for personal use as much as you want. In Oklahoma, you may
only transport it between your residences when you move. (There is no
other need to.)

Please note: I am not an expert, just someone who investigated this to
cover his own butt.
