ANST - Documentation Assistance

I'd like to remind *EVERYONE* in Ansteorra who will be physically attending Gulf Wars that YOU can help us with the arts war points.

In addition to the Arts Champions that were selected last weekend at Tempio, we're ALSO having an A&S Melee -- anyone who is (1) present on site and (2) who has documentation may enter the melee. The point goes to the kingdom that has the most entries in the melee. Plus there will be
Laurels there to admire the work, and comment if requested.

We decided to require documentation for the melee to keep every fighter on site from entering an old sweaty ripped up t-tunic from the bottom of the rag bag as "art". But beginner's works, works in progress, masterworks -- any art, old or new, so long as it is documented and the artist is
on-site, counts. What a great way to show off your efforts with no pressure -- isn't that exactly what folks have been asking for?

Now, as for the documentation assistance part, I am hereby offering to help anyone with documentation. Just contact me at <gunnora at bga.com> or call me at (512) 835-4161 (before 9pm) and I will be more than happy to get you going on your documentation, to look it over when you have a draft of
the documentation, to guide you to sources so you can begin your documentation etc. The more items Ansteorra has entered in the Arts Melee, the greater the glory for the Black Star.

My only stipulation is that you cannot wait until the two or three days before Lyonnesse -- I'm preparing for Lyonnesse! And War Week is Right Out as well for similar reasons. Act now!

In fact, I make this as an open offer for *any* arts competition or display. Getting minimal documentation shouldn't be painful, and I suspect that what many folks need is simply a helping hand to get started. Contact me at any time (but don't wait until the Thursday or Friday before the
event for your own sake!) and I will happily help you with your documentation.

If I have enough lead time, I can also travel to your group and do an afternoon documentation roundtable, where everyone brings their projects and their books and what documentation that they do have, and we'll work on it together.
