Greetings:  There will be space to set up A & S displays on the theme of
DEATH at Candlemas in Bryn Gwlad.  There will enough room to accommodate
all works, regardless.  The display will have security.

There will be classes.  Below is the class schedule for Candlemas.
There will be a sign up sheet for the bookbinding class at the gate.
All other classes are as space allows.  Please contact me directly at
otter at texas.net or 512/407-8664.  All classes are subject to change
and/or cancellation.

Classroom A

12:00 - 1:00  Documentation - Clare RosMuire St. John
Explanation of how to make understandable documentation for both judges
and the populace.

1:00 - 3:00 Bookbinding - Rhyanne the Silkenswift Otter
This class will explore both past and present in bookbinding.  There
will be hands on activity. Class is limitation to 5
people due to the expense and complexity of the materials.  No limit to
onlookers.

3:00 - 4:00 Heralds and Heraldry in the Middle Ages - HL Gwenllian ferch
Maredudd
A discussion of the role played by heraldry in the Middle Ages -- how
heraldry developed, the forms of heraldic display,
the role of heralds and heraldry in tournaments, the distinctions among
devices, badges, and livery. This class is not a
technical heraldry class but rather a history class intended to promote
period uses of heraldry in the SCA.

Classroom B

12:00 - 1:00 Persona Development - Pendaran Glamorgan
A presentation of persona role playing, including interaction with
fellow classmates, and how to make the most of your persona through
creativity and research.

1:00 - 3:00 Black Death - Onslaught and Aftermath - Jan Van Zandt
A fitting class for this event.  Background on the how the Black Death
effected Europe.

3:00 - 4:00 Rapier Marshaling - HL Kayleigh Drake
HL Kayleigh's touring class on rapier marshaling.
