Greetings to all,

We too fly  to  Gulf War every year, as we are unable to be away
from our business  for a full week.  Imagine my surprise when I saw that 
reservation #59 was too late for a reservation.   I have in years past had
reservation nmbers in the 200's and still managed to get a cabin reservation. 

Since we have hired forces to fight with us, we will attend, at a considerable
added expense of approx. $300 (hotel),  plus $250 (car rental).  Not to
mention the 1 hour round trip drive each day.   Last year, we have stayed
at the Georgetown Inn, but  when we checked out, we tried to make
reservations, and there was already a waiting list of approx. 50.

I can attest that at least 8 people in my group were incensed.  I realize that
it is our choice to attend an event, and bear the expense, but it would have
been nice to have known of the possibility of preferential treatment as
opposed to the advertised first come, first served.  

We will carefully consider whether or not to attend next year based on
how the war goes this year, as last year our group was treated rather
badly.  The only option we have seems to be to speak with our dollars by
not attending a badly managed event.  I hope that this year is better:-)
