Ulrike -

It's an event held in mundane clothes, with no court, no feast, no
tourney.  Nobody's there to have fun.  So when the meetings of the
various officers go all day, nobody's fun is spoiled.  Although,
since it's my birthday (and that of my protege, Arabella), every-
body's welcome to join us that evening playing LaserQuest in Ft.
Worlth.  "Dutch", of course.

Basically, it's a day of kingdom- and regional- level business 
meetings.
