what you're dealing with is just another form of "informational virus" that  
survives by vectoring into the email systems via people who don't know any 
better who to their mind and understanding at that point trying to do a 
service.   so get annoyed at the system and and not the person, they most often 
didn't know any better at the time ... but usually do after the fact.  

if you apply the "if it looks like a duck and it quacks like a duck test" and 
then go to the online virus/hoax sites (that everyone should have bookmaked .. 
IMNSHO) then the life-cycle of these annoyances is broken
