dunno ... about a week back had to make a run from austin to lubbock and back 
... was amazed all along the way at how green it was, how healthy the 
fields, how full and clear all the stock tanks were, and how comfortable it was 
during the day and at night ... can't ever remember that part of tejas ever 
being that nice - usually burn through it as fast as possible when heading for 
the mountains and/or high desert in new mexico just to get through the high 
plain sections of the runs.  glad i had reason to look around a bit this time 
....
