Good Morning,

  This is notice of changes to how the Ansteorra list will be ran from
  today forward. I will be modifying the new user info page accordingly.

  These changes are result of growing problems. While these may not seem
  like a big problem to some individuals, they are a severe problem to
  others. If you would like to see how bad of a problem this can be,
  try taking a look at the digests or archives sometime.

  First, image posts and other binary formats such as word processor
  documents will not be allowed. If you wish to make these available,
  post them to a website and send reference or offer to email them
  privately to individuals.

  Second, posts that are not properly edited to remove irrelevant
  content will be rejected. These messages will be returned to the sender
  with the original message so they may properly edit it and resend it to
  the list. I have been playing with the parameters to this to see if I
  am happy with them. I will be adjusting them over time more than likely.

  Finally, I will be working on filters that will strip out information
  from multi-part MIME messages. These messages are primarily the result
  of packages such as Netscape and Outlook that post in text and HTML or
  MS-TNEF format. This is not ready yet, but will be worked on over time.

  In the past, these filters have been in place and relaxed as people
  did things "properly". These filters will not be removed again.

  I thank you for your time, I apologize for the inconveniences, but I
  feel I must start regulating this better.
