i would move all my material in front of the sniper then go sit in the 
audience. that tell the sniper, "if you think i'm to incompetent to teach 
this class and you have to teach it for me, then you teach it."

would ask who was lord or lady whomever because the hand out said they were 
the one teaching the class and i was confused as to which one of them was 
lord or lady whomever.

insult a peer.

Or a non-laurel, but respected

face it, people will say you have no manners if you "insult" anyone 
knowledgable in any field. even if they were sniping.
