Dear Celeste,
 I am a newcomer to the Ansteorra mailing list too and I was shocked at
the rudeness of some of the messages that you received about smalls.
Mark Twain said: "Keep away from people who try to belittle your
ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you
feel that you, too, can become great."
 I hope that you won't let this keep you from participating in what
clearly is a good forum and means of communication. Perhaps one of the
more select list might suit your interests. When a lady on the minstrels
list said her sister was sick and could someone suggest where she could
advertize it for sale, 
 I was also shocked the first message about it was a slam of that
particular harp. Later messages, support one I sent that said that the
small harps are good for carrying around and playing on the list field.
 I hope you will and others will keep Mark Twain's words in mind as you
communicate.
