Get the ones for fiberglass shafts the price of the head is the same as for
wood. However fiberglass is almost unbreakable, fiberglass shafts can be
made from rod that cost the same or less than wood shafts. In fort battles
you may lose zero to 30% due to breakage with wood. In my limited experiance
field battles are not quite as bad but you will still have some loss

Wood shafts cost about $.55 to $.65 each if you buy in lots of 500, nocks
are now about $.06 each, vanes are about $2.25 per 36. You may be able to
get a discount if you buy 500 or more if you ask. The price of 3/8 plywood
varies so check with you local lumber yard you need at least one 4 by 8
sheet, don't forget to add strapping and duck tape, also 4 oz leather have
to have 1 1/4" disc on top of the plywood to be a shaft stop, cans of spray
foam to fill the cone, some thing to make cones out of to put around the
plywood disc to act as a support (keeps the head from breaking as fast) glue
for the vanes/nocks and to glue the disc/leather to the shaft. Some place to
put the shafts when you foam them, they need to sit overnight, at least one
friend to help foam ( may not be a friend after, it can be nasty)
