Good Evening All,

Well, the War was ended early and no real War Points were tallied but
I think it may be good to see how things were going.

First, we buried Trimaris in the Service War Point. It was over a 3 to 1
ratio. Well done!

We also took the static arts War Point including three perfect scores!

The bardic War Point was not held because all of the Trimarian Champions
had gone home. So our bards declared the War Point a tie instead of a
default.

The Knife, Axe and Spear throw probably would have gone our way because
it usually goes to Meridian entrants and they were on our side this time.

Three rapier lists were held and two were won by Ansteorra. Don Brendan and
Ld. Geoffrey of the Bey were victors. In the list won by someone else (please
provide me with the name and kingdom of the gentle) second place went to
Don Brendan.

The torchlight tournament was won by Prince Stephan Bellatrix, Crown Prince
of Atlantia, our friend and ally.

Though we didn't fight a War Point our Champions were strong and skilled. The
noble Trimarian Champions were equally skilled and it could have gone either
way. But I have faith in those we chose for they all fought as heroes. Sir
Drake went so far as to enter the Trimarian camp and declare himself the
Champion of Ansteorra for the War Point. The battle is a wonderful story fit
for a bard's fire.

The fighting points will forever be a mystery. But from the fighting on the
first couple of days and on the last day all I can say is that it would have
been fun and honorable. We would have taken the fort this time even if they
had to use this poor old King's head as a battering ram!

Our thanks go to all those who attended and tried. Especial thanks go to
Baron Lucais as the Ansteorran landocrat and Royalty Wrangler. He made things
much easier for us all.

Thanks to Don Miguel, Ly. Conal, Ld. Alejandro and Ly. Amalia for driving from
Dallas to Austin to pick up the arrows for the War.

Thanks to all those who pushed people out of the mud, kept folks warm and dry,
and maintained bright spirits through it all.

To the chili party cooks and the organizers of the Order of the Rose Breakfast.
To House Porto and the Lost Boys for hosting probably the most decadent and
infamous party ever held at Gulf Wars.

To Baron Sir Kief, the Earl Marshal, as well as Sir Wilhelm, his assistant,
for keeping the armor legal.

To the Kingdom of Meredies for hosting this nasty little soiree and always
being gracious hosts.

And to our noble enemies and wonderful friends the Kingdom of Trimaris for
without them there would be no War.

Yours in gratitude.

Gunthar
Rex
