This book describes a number of "con" games and scams as well as "letter-bombs"
wherein needles explode out of a letter.  It also deals with gambling, whoring,
pickpocketing robbery and sneak-theiving.  All in all - a great period look at
the criminal element.  Then as now, there were pamphlets and warning books to
help the innocent victims be aware of crime in the streets...and at the
fairs...and on the highway...and at the lawyers...and even to the aisles of the
cathedral!
