Yes Charles, but only if you can document the marshmallow. :-)

Actually, I believe there was predecessor to the blobs of sugar we
call Marshmallows today. A mallow plant that grew in marshes. I
believe this was discussed on the SCA-Cook's list as well as various
Middle-Eastern sugar/divinity items that might be considered close.

I believe this info is in my Florilegium files. Not enough to be
A&S documentation on it's own but a start.

Any of you A&S types out there up to an interesting project?
