Greetings brothers and sisters, 

Some people we know are bigger than life.  Osis was one of those 
people.  When he laughed, the room shook with his mirth.  When he 
moved on the battle field his presence preceeded him like a scythe 
through grass.  These words are for him.


Excuse me if I stop and cry, 
for a hero died today.
No more will he lift his swords on high,
and join in the battle fray.

The Halls of Asgard fill tonight,
to wait for their brother dear.
They raise their spears for his might,
and their horns for his good cheer.

In battle, he came foremost,
with iron sword and arm.
In revel, he came foremost,
with humor, heart and charm.

Knight of the realm who didn't stop
'til he had victory.
No matter what, he would not drop.
First of the First was he.

Duke Osis, my friend and hero,
A man I wish all knew,
for he lived as others long to,
because that's what Heroes do.
