been reminding people of this on other lists when they make calls for donation 
/ relief suggestions.  this one donated yesterday when the first local call for 
blood went out, and will do so again later in the week ... after i've eaten a 
few times

from what i've heard they need everything.  if you want to help, call your 
local RC and ask what they need most.  one donataion that is always welcome 
(besides blood) is cash ...
