Gentles of Ansteorra, Greetings,

At Tourney by the Loch in Loch Soilleir on October 9 there will be a 
tournament of Rapier Champions. As you may or may not know, the Rapier 
Champion of Torre de los Brazos, Lord Talon der Rieser, mka Bill Phillips, 
was in a serious motorcycle accident last year, and is still undergoing 
treatment. In support of our Champion, Torre de los Brazos will be holding a 
raffle at the event to help defray his medical expenses. At this time, 
prizes include a Scottish claymore (the basket hilt type), a rather nice 
dagger, and various smaller items including amber and silver jewelry. 
Donations of prizes are still being gratefully accepted. Contact Baron

If you will be unable to attend the event but would still like to
help, ongoing donations are being accepted. Please make checks payable to 
Karen Phillips (Talon's wife), and mail to Norman Stuart (sca Lord

Torre de los Brazos recognizes the efforts of Lord Aaron on behalf of Talon 
and his lady in their time of need, and commend his efforts to ease their 
burden.
