Dairmaid Ui Dhuinn has by far one of the best sites. I don't remember the
URL right now, but it is in one or more of the shoe-related files in the
Florilegium. These are the files I have in the CLOTHING section:

p-shoes-msg       (50K)  4/17/96    Medieval footwear.
shoemaking-msg    (18K) 12/ 3/98    Making shoes. More detailed than shoes-msg.
shoes-msg        (156K)  3/25/98    Medieval footwear and SCA imitations.

The info in these files ranges from mundane shoes that may be acceptable 
and modifications that can be made to mundane shoes and shoe disguises to
information on period shoes and info on making your own shoes. I can't
remember though if there are many shoe venders mentioned or not.
