Vivat for Sir Galen and his Noble lady,
This brings to mine that there are other nobles who can support
activities. In the past we had a group of Kings and Queens who viewed
the kingdom and all that was in it as their personal toy. We were all
here to entertain them. They had forgotten that the show is not for the
crown but the crown is part of the show. This is not the case anymore.
The last years have given us wonderful people who not only cared about
the people of Ansteorra but had the showmanship to make the magic. They
have supported all sorts of things and projects and have worked very
hard. Of course new things have grown up. Archery and The youth fighting
to be only two things. The Crown is pulled thin. That is why Sir Galen's
persona shoot is a wonderful idea. The Baron/ess are the Crown's
representative and as such can speak for the Crown . Also other nobles
can sit as the Crown's vicar. I would be honored if Countess Octavia,
Countess Thera, or Countess Kat or any of the fine past queens sat in for
the royal presence at any bardic or dancing event I sponsored. I would
also be honored if their gentlemen were the vicar but the guys get more
chances to do stuff. If the Crown sent a royal announcement and gift
Their presence would be felt. Especially if the Crown receive a full
report and later made mention of the high points. Or if the Crown made a
short stop in their evening rounds. We have resources that can help make
magic for everyone if we use them right.
