ANST - archery complaint

unlike the lady, i have tried to avoid reading this thread. mostly because 
the posturing is sickening. (i know more than you do and if you do agree 
with me then you're a ******, and such.) i have been deleting all the posts. 
(i opened this one by mistake.) but what she said is true. there are some 
archers who are pompous and arrogant. unfortunately, a few bad apples do 
spoil the barrel. and there is nothing we can do to correct this problem. 
actually, we can fix it. but nobody has the ***** to fix it. or the clout to 
survive the onslaught afterwards.
but on the most part, i'm tired of having archery scheduled against 
everything. (i once missed court because the shoot was scheduled opposite 
it.) or having it cancelled because there weren't enough archers or there 
was a lack of interest. if the marshal is the only one out there, stay out 
there. shoot for the fun of it. if others see you shooting, they may want to 
try it. that's how you increase interest in the sport. but if you take your 
toys and go home because nobody wants to play with you, then you're not 
going to spark any interest in some one else.
before you start complaining about how bad the world is treating you, look 
at yourself and see if you find the problem there. if not then look 
elsewhere. and instead of crying about how bad things are, fix them. whether 
they be internal or external.
